Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: There are several, I will mention 2: 2 discs where I recorded all the trumpets and they were nominated for the Latin Grammys. I am honored with these projects, since hundreds of miles of records are made a year in Latin America, and those records were taken into account by miles of people who liked them. On the other hand, those trumpets were recorded in just two recording sessions, and I feel very good that they have been with quality.

A: Recording some trumpets for a client in Rap / Latin style

A: YES I can record your song and my answer is usually yes once we agree on the price. I try to see if you can tell me clearly what you are looking for exactly.

A: When the client does not have a clear idea of ​​what he wants and I am wrong in interpreting it

A: I have more than 25 years in the world of music, I have been the main trumpeter of two symphony orchestras, I have made recordings and shows with many groups of different styles, in addition to being a recording technician with the ability to record, edit, mix and master songs and complete productions.

A: Yes: You have to listen very well to the client to understand well what they are looking for, and based on this, do the job with a lot of love.

A: Latin music, electronic, jazz and symphonic music, however I do music in other styles as well.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: It depends on what the client requires: Sometimes they do not have the musical arrangement and it is the first thing I do (They give me some reference of what they are looking for). If they have them, they send me the musical scores, the track and the time in Bpm. Then I record and edit the instruments that I recorded, to deliver them in tune and at the correct time with respect to the track. In the case of mixes and masters, the client sends me the tracks in wave and a reference to a song already mixed and / or mastered of what they are looking for. It is very important that the client tell me what they are looking for, if possible, with references, unless they already know my work and I left it to my choice. I always focus on generating excellent vibrations with which the client and the audience that the music will reach can enjoy them.

A: I use Cubase Pro and condenser microphones. I send the audio in Wave at 48,000 24 Bits, unless the client wants a specific format.
