Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My typical work process varies depending on project type. My number 1 priority with any project is communication. I ensure that there are strong lines of communication with all parties involved with the project to ensure that all work is at its best and to the clients specifications.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I run Pro Tools 10 with the Command 8 controller. Recording capabilities for vocals and some instruments. Currently working on a space to set up drums to record drummers. I do a lot of my recording sessions in different studios and bring the projects back to my studio for mixing and mastering. For producing I compose all of my tracks in logic and then transfer to Pro Tools for post production.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: To list all of the musical individuals who inspire me would make this an insanely long section to read. I have a great love for all types of music and the ways its created that I grasp bits and pieces of each and make it my own. Music is universal and it can be expressed in many different ways and there will always be a piece of music that is suitable for any situation. I'm really into movie scores and the way that composers construct scores to flow with a movie or show etc. Being able to convey emotion with a piece of music is the most inspiring thing and if a producer or composure can cause that, they are an automatic inspiration in my book.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I do various types of work depending on the clients needs. I can produce and create custom music pieces in a wide range of genres, write and create lead sheets or scores for composed music. I mainly work as a mix engineer and I have also mastered albums for clients on certain occasions.
