A: My Strat My M1 8TB Laptop Interface SM7B
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been at this my whole life. As a kid, I played jazz festivals with my groups and went on to musical school (Eastman and Yale) where I studied Jazz and Classical with world class musicians and went on to tour with Cirque Du Soleil. After school I began to compose, produce, mix and master music for ABC, BBC, CBS, E Entertainment, Fox, HBO, MTV, Nat Geo, Style Network and many others. I developed many artists helping them get signed to major labels, build fanbases and tour.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Top 40's
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Many people try to wrap a luxurious beat around a vocal to make the music sound good--INSTEAD--get a luxuriously perfected vocal (and before that, a hit song) which will ultimately drive the track. Of course then proceed to make the best track possible.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Top 40's but also Jazz and Classical
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Playing the guitar
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a depth of musical feeling, sensibilities and knowledge from having earned muiltiple Music Degrees (Eastman School of Music and Yale University). 300+ Million Streams with my clients on Spotify and 100 Million Views with my clients on You Tube.
Q: What's your typical work process?

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by top 40s music throughout history and the music that moves people. I am also very inspired by classical and jazz music which are at the core of who I am as a musician and what enables me to create what I am hearing.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work with artists to achieve their dreams which has meant creating their music from scratch with them and then finding them the right record or publishing deal, landing #1 on the Billboard charts or getting nominated for a Grammy. In other cases, it has meant finding the right tour for them to be a part of, or landing music a sync on their favorite show. There is no one size fits all, it all depends on what the artist is aiming to do.
