8 years as mix & Mastering engineer. Kike Santander. Steven Slate Audio. Jambene, Sebastian Ledher & More. I've spent my career working alongside some of the most respected names in Latin music, always behind the scenes. Now I bring that same level to your project. Specialized in pop and urban music. Major Label sound.
I'm Noel, a mixing and mastering engineer specialized in pop and latin/urban music, working 100% online with artists and producers worldwide. Over the years I've had the privilege of working alongside names like Kike Santander, Jambene, Sebastian Ledher, Goyo, and brands like Steven Slate Audio — always behind the scenes, always focused on one thing: making the music sound exactly how it deserves.
My approach combines the warmth and character of analog processing with the clarity and precision of digital — the result is a sound that's clean, wide, and competitive, but never plastic. Something that stands out in a playlist, not just technically, but sonically.
I don't just deliver a mix. I deliver confidence. I get involved in your project, I communicate clearly, and I work from your vision — not mine. Your demo is my most important reference.
If you've put real time, money, and energy into your music, you already know that audio quality can make or break everything you've built.
Let's make sure it doesn't.

Interview with Noel Gimenez
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was part of the development of Steven Slate Audio's VSX headphone system — a plugin that emulates world-class studios, cars, and listening environments. Steven trusted my ears to help fine-tune the rooms and make critical adjustments to ensure the emulations translated accurately across different listening contexts. Being part of that process was a milestone — it sits at the intersection of my obsession with sound and the highest level of the industry.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both :)
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q: Do you follow my references or do you impose your own sound? A: Your demo is my most important reference. I'm here to elevate your vision, not replace it. Q: How many revisions do you include? A: As many as needed until we hit a competitive, professional standard — within the scope of the project. Q: What files do I need to send? A: Correctly exported stems, a demo mix, and 1 to 2 sonic references. If you're unsure how to export, I'll guide you. Q: How long does it take? A: 3 business days from the moment I receive all files. Q: Do you do mastering as well? A: Yes. The Signature package includes mastering. I also offer standalone mastering and premium stem mastering.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing is just a technical process. It's not — it's the step that defines how the world hears your music. A great mix isn't just about clarity and loudness. It's about emotion, identity and impact. The technical part is the foundation, but what actually makes a mix great is knowing what the song needs to feel alive — and that takes years of trained ears, not just good plugins.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Full mixing and mastering for independent pop and urban artists who are serious about their music. Most of my clients come with a produced track that sounds good but doesn't yet compete at a professional level — my job is to close that gap. I work on the balance, the space, the dynamics and the sonic identity of each track until it sounds like a Major Label release with a unique character of its own.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That your music will sound exactly how it deserves to — competitive, professional and uniquely yours. I know how much time, money and energy goes into a song. My promise is that the mix will never be the reason it doesn't land. 💎
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Bruno Mars, J.Balvin or Harry Styles. Not because of their fame — because of their sonic identity. Each of them has built a sound that is immediately recognizable, deeply personal and globally competitive. That intersection between artistic vision and world-class production is exactly where I operate.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop and urban music — from radio-ready pop to reggaeton, trap, R&B and everything in between. I've spent 8 years specializing in these genres and understanding what makes them work sonically at a Major Label level.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Translating an artist's vision into a sound that feels inevitable — like it couldn't have been any other way. I work from your demo and your references, not from my own ego. My strongest skill is making a song sound exactly like what it was always meant to be, while pushing it to compete at the highest level.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What do you bring to a song? I bring a fresh pair of ears and a clear sonic direction. After years of working alongside artists and producers at the highest level, I've developed an approach that goes beyond technical execution — I listen to what the song needs, not what I'm used to hearing. I combine the warmth and character of analog processing with the precision of digital, delivering a sound that's clean, wide and competitive, but never generic. I don't just mix tracks — I help define how the world hears your music.

- Working with Kike SantanderMay 05, 2026
Recently had the privilege of working with Kike Santander — one of the most important songwriters in Latin music history. He wrote songs for Cristian Castro, David Bisbal, Thalía and Jennifer Lopez, and much more. Working alongside someone with that level of legacy is a reminder of why I do what I do — and the standard I hold every project to.
