Walter Morelli (Taranto, 2 April 1994), better known by his stage name "Walter More" is an Italian record producer, musician, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.
Born in the city of Taranto (South Italy), he breathes air music thanks to his family of musicians and audiophiles. He began his adventure in the world of music at the age of 6, learning to play the recorder for five years in the wind section of his elementary school.
At the age of 12, he receives, as a gift from his father, his first DJ console with whom he enjoys organizing performances in different parties in amateur ways. After 13 years he starts taking piano lessons that he leaves after a year, continuing to study as self-taught.
He started his career in 2010 by participating in several projects of the alternative underground scene, in 2018 he founded his first solo project "LVNAR" which he releases two singles DIVIDED (July 2018) and IN THE NIGHT (Aug 2019). Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I work with artists of different musical genres (pop / rock / indie / alternative/ hiphop / trap) and at the same time work on my solo project.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop - Rock - HipHop - Trap - EDM - Dance
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! I like using analog and at the same time plug-ins or virtual instruments.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like: - To know people - Make new experiences - To travel - Entertain people
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My pc, a pair of headphones, a microphone, a midi keyboard and a hard drive
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I always like to mix sounds coming from different genres. Every time is a new challenge!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd like to work with either Mark Ronson or Rick Rubin
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When I produce, I always work with a compressor on the master bus to give a bit of glue to the song right from the beginning. I usually use the Waves Aphex Vintage Exciter!
