Multi-faceted producer and engineer who can take your project from inception to completion.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University in Recording Industry Studies. While there, I recorded and mixed an EP for an Indianapolis-based pop country artist named Jai Baker. I had some great mentors at Butler, including one who worked at Ocean Way Recording in Los Angeles, CA, now United Recording. I then worked as a runner at United and served on sessions for Father John Misty, Imagine Dragons, Jay-Z, Vic Mensa, Logic, Queens of the Stone Age, and Joe Henry.
While I lived in LA I produced, recorded, and mixed Bill Nye Thinks We're A Band, the debut full length album for a local up-and-comer named Gestures and Sounds. Since my return to Chicago, I mixed and mastered songs for DC-based artist Ruxton, for his EP Colors of a Life's Painting: Yellow.
Mixing and producing are my two favorite things to do. I am starting to really love mastering as well, especially after learning a lot from the experienced mastering engineers at United Recording. It's extremely satisfying to put those finishing touches on a great record.

John produced, engineered, and mixed my band's debut album and we are all extremely happy with how it turned out!! He was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He accommodated all of our needs from start to finish and played a major role in us finishing the record in a timely manner as well as achieving the ideal sound!
You won’t find a more motivated engineer who wants to take your sound to the next level. He doesn’t cut corners and knows his craft.
