Hey I'm Michael, I provide Mixing and Session Drummer services. I go above and beyond on every project I work on always pushing myself to achieve the best results. I've had the pleasure of recording and mixing bands locally for years and want to move into a solely mixing role. I've also played drums for many original and cover acts!
I record, mix & master for bands, play drums for tribute acts & original artists. I produce music for production libraries, AvantMusicPort for example. I'm a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, guitar, bass, keys, and trumpet. I work from my home studio with top-notch gear.
I primarily offer mixing services, through mixing many songs in many styles and knowing Studio One like the back of my hand I can get great results quick. I'm used to dealing with less then perfect recordings, most of the songs I mix are DIY home recordings, which comes with a whole load of issues, which I've learned to quickly resolve. I've worked with Punk, Pop-Punk, Indie, Pop and Rock bands to get their recordings ready for Spotify Playlists, Radio and YouTube so that they can compete on these platforms.
I also offer my services as a session drummer. I have a home set up with my electric kit that I use to record and a separate space with my Grestch kit always mic'd up and ready to go. I'm happy to play on almost any type of music but my sweet spot is Rock, Punk, Pop-Punk, Indie, Pop, Country and Singer-songwriter. Through my years of recording and playing with wedding bands I've pretty much played everything. Although I'm probably not the correct choice for Jazz or Metal.

Mike has now recorded two EP's for us, the first of which we released earlier this year, the second scheduled for release later this year. Mike was both accommodating and professional during the engineering process, ensuring that enough time was allocated to the process, but also that the time was utilised efficiently and to full effect.
Mike was attentive and receptive to the feedback we provided. Great care was taken by him to ensure that the songs came to life exactly as we envisioned them. No challenge was too great, no request taken lightly. His attention to detail is second to none.
Michael has recorded, mixed and mastered all of our releases to date. Most recently Michael recorded, mixed and mastered our 3 latest singles. He's easy to work with and always goes above and beyond to get each sounding sounding as good as possible. With one song we didn't have all of the parts fully figured out and Michael gladly made arrangement changes and reamped parts we wanted to change.

I recorded mixed & mastered their first EP last year and it released March '24 to a great reception in the punk scene.
To keep the momentum going Easy Company reached out to me again to work on their follow up EP. Same as last time we recorded everything in a noisy rehearsal room and I mixed it from my home studio. I can't wait to share it once Easy Company are ready to release it!
