Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Stick to the basics, Try not to over do it! We have so many cool tools these days and it’s hard to resist the temptation to use everything we have. Most of the time I find out it’s not even needed.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: JAY-Z, He's The Greatest!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Pro, Headphones, Apollo Twin X, Octo Satellite, and Townsend Mic Modeling System.

A: Producing>Recording>Mixing for the past 20 years!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Minimalist.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Typical “In The Box” setup. Running a M1 Mac Mini<Apollo Twin X<Focal Shape Twins & beyerdynamic headphones. With way too many plug-ins! Lol. Also the Townsend Mic Modeling System in case I’m hired to record.

A: Andrew Scheps, Tchad Blake, Serban Ghenea, and Leslie Brathwaite to name a few.

A: B double E “To the Top” from the stomp the yard 2 Movie. I was the recording, mixing, & mastering engineer! It felt pretty good to hear my work during the big final dance battle on the big screen!

A: Ask questions! Listen to examples to make sure they are a good fit.

A: Being able to take the backseat and listen to the artist and let the music dictate the mix. Staying out of my own way and knowing when to STOP mixing lol.

A: Excitement, punch, depth, width, & clarity
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Talking to the artist about their vision, Listening to the song on repeat while organizing the session (color coding, naming, routing etc.) I like to start with the vocals then bass and kick relationship. Once I get the kick, snare, bass, and lead vocal sounding good everything else falls into place!
