Creative artist who knows how to professionally deliver a precisely tailored track according to the details given. It took only 1 revision for completion, as he come up first with an overall version to grasp the précised feedback, then the shape up version (revision) will be the perfectly smoothed version - & honestly it has nothing to do with the 1st version - so sit back and enjoy his creative skills. Thank you Kyle

Very understanding. Very complimentary to what I was doing, and hit the nail on the head in the end.

If you are stuck on some lyrics that just aren't shining as properly as they should, I implore you to give Kyle a chance to shine. Easy to work with, good communication, good guy, and excellent final product.

    100% recommend.

I called upon Kyle to create a fresh draft of lyrics for an existing song idea. To my amazement, he cranked out a complete sheet and new melody in no time. He later cranked out a completely different set of lyrics instead of a revision. I don't know how he manages to write so quickly but it's impressive. In addition, he expressed an unconditional willingness to work through drafts of this song to get it perfect. Life got in my way but I'm happy with his contributions and wowed by his speed.

Interview with Kyle Rogan

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I am easy to work with, flexible, and am here to make you look good.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I like it when clients don't use the songs I write. They're all mine then!

  5. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  6. A: I think Tyler Joseph and I would have a ton of fun together. Goof off and make some killer tracks that are all over the place.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Keep writing. Don't be afraid to write garbage. You're going to no matter what. Get over it and let it happen.

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: I am very fast writer with a quick turnaround time. I'm also not an arrogant jerk, so if it's not what you're looking for, no harm no foul. I'll give it another go!

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: I love wit, depth, imagery, and storytelling. When I get to do all those at once, I'm a happy man. My goal with my work is to make others awesome. This isn't about me. This is about you telling the story you want to tell. It's your music. I'm just living in it.

  13. Q: What's your typical work process?

  14. A: I'm a professionally trained improviser/actor, so I really enjoy taking prompts from people on they want. A theme, a word, an idea, a story, an image...those prompts get me out my own head and urge me to solve the song that is waiting to be written.

  15. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  16. A: I'm a songwriter. Computer and a cup of coffee is all I need.

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: Tyler Joseph (Twenty One Pilots) - This dude has the incredible ability blend raw emotions, quick wit, and fantastic imagery in his writing. Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty) - I am constantly in awe of how nearly every song he writes could be a standalone single and he is still making great music Barenaked Ladies - I could fanboy forever about these guys, but the fact that they have been making music for 30+ years and are the happiest they've ever been (not needing to be mainstream!)...that's something dreams are made of.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: I mostly write original song lyrics for my clients, either as a credited songwriter or ghostwriter. It'll depend on the type of project and the work involved. I LOVE providing feedback to songwriters and am big on being an honest, genuine voice in doing so. Writers don't need to hear what they want to hear. They need to hear what the real deal is with their songs. And heck, I get a ton out of it too!
