You can never do the same thing twice; each song you have mixed & mastered by me will be instilled with it's own original character and energy but will simultaneously fit perfectly played in unison with the rest of your project.
I've been studying the art of recording, mixing and mastering since I was a kid. It's been a constant driving force that I've worked tirelessly to continue to master. I've worked on a variety of genres ranging from Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Rock, Reggaeton, Folk, Punk, Emo, Alternative and many others. I've devoted a huge portion of my life to honing these skills and it continues to pay off every day. All I want to do with what I've learned is to help you bring your creative vision to life. As a mixer, I'm here to cater to the artist because the artistic intent is paramount to the outcome of a project. I can consistently supply high-quality, professional mixes that will translate well across a variety of listening platforms and can master to specific streaming services such as Soundcloud, Spotify & Apple Music. Let's work together and make something amazing.

Interview with Nate G.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All types of rock, hip-hop, rap, r&b, dance, soul.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Clarity and power.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I help an artist create a track that is unique and full of energy. It will simultaneously be a product of the artist’s creative vision while also matching the taste and audio standards of every other professional recording artist. I do my best to make the most impactful mix every time.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: In mixing, I start by doing all edits necessary, from time alignment to vocal tuning to gain staging. Once everything is ready for mixing I sort every track into sub groups. I usually start with vocals first, as this is generally the most important element in a song. I then listen to the rough mix to try and determine which parts are the most important to be heard by the artist. From their it’s all instinctual, creative and technical tweaking to unleash the fullest potential from any song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I usually do recording engineering inside studios that are already set up completely for the task. With mixing, there are 3 things you need: Good speakers, a well-treated room, and GREAT ears. And that is exactly what I have, on top of packs of all of the professional plugins that help to achieve specific processes and are made to emulate famed pieces of outboard gear.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by engineers and producers like Manny Marroquin, Jaycen Joshua, Chris Lord Alge, Bob Clearmountain, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Pharrell & Timbaland. All extremely hardworking professionals who are always trying to stay at the top of their game.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I’m generally an all-in-one recording/mixing/mastering engineer. Most of the work that I’ve done, I’ve played all roles at once. This has given me an incredible amount of experience and drives me to work tirelessly to achieve the ultimate product.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A song can be extremely simple as long as it moves and breathes. If there is enough difference and uniqueness to parts A, B, C & D, the track doesn’t need to be overproduced.
