With 20+ years of experience as a musician and producer, I provide a 360° service from the songwriting stage to mixing and I'll take your project to professional standards.
With over 20 years of experience in the music industry,
I am a multi-instrumentalist musician and sound engineer based in a high end recording studio in Paris.
My expertise spans a wide range of musical genres, but my style of production is rooted in contemporary pop, where I blend modern sounds with emotional depth and technical precision.
As a musician proficient in multiple instruments, I approach sound engineering from a musician’s perspective, ensuring that every project is infused with creativity while maintaining a strong, commercial appeal.
My ambition is to create original, unique music that feels fresh yet catchy and accessible to a wide audience.
I specialize in bringing your ideas to life, whether it’s starting from scratch with a demo, adding beats and developing dynamic toplines, or creating full orchestration for a polished, finished track.
With a fast turnaround time, I can produce a full song in just two to three days, taking it from a demo to a complete, high-quality production that’s ready for release.
I believe in crafting music that stands out, while still being commercially viable and resonating deeply with listeners.
If you're looking for a producer who understands the balance between artistry and marketability, I’m here to help you create something truly memorable.

Jean is not only fun to work with but also professional and inspiring. He has the ability to communicate effectively, which made me feel comfortable sharing my ideas. His positive spirit and fantastic suggestions truly elevated our project. I can't recommend him enough for anyone looking to collaborate with a talented and supportive producer.
I’ve had the privilege to work with Jean on a number of projects and his talent and experience in every stage of the production process really takes the songs to a next level. He was a key player in the production of our album, giving us feedback, helping us record, and mixing the entirety of it. Without Jean the end result wouldn’t have sounded nearly as good. I highly recommend him!

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to live off my passion and create something that will make people happy.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Producing various indie projects, and doing some mixing for a forthcoming album I produced.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog sound sources for the vibe and sound recorded to digital for the convenience and precision.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started with classical guitar at the Conservatoire in Paris when I was 8. I was a bass player in my first band at age 12. A couple years later I started playing drums, and when I dropped out of school I went to a Jazz school in Paris studying guitar and drums for a year . At the same time I went back to Conservatoire to learn saxophone. My interest for music production and recording started when I was 17. Up to 25 years old I was mainly playing in bands and then I moved to London where I worked in my first recording studio, working on my own projects. All my life I have combined playing as a musician and producing / mixing music.

A: French romantic pop with a tight groove , dreamy soundscapes and catchy melodies .
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Prince, Beck, Jack Antonoff, Pharrell Williams, Nigel Godrich
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: None
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do they expect from me , what references they have and I use that to get a feel of who they are and understand and translate that into music.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Alt pop RnB Indie rock soul with the French touch and a solid groove foundation. I will only work on music I really feel and that moves me, I can't fake it ;-)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being able to connect to the music and hear things that will enhance the artistic vision of the artist. Finding interesting chord progressions and creating a piece of music in no time.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A good set of ears , a vision for the perfect song form and finding the right tempo and key that is adapted to the singer. I will help finding the ultimate phrasing and make sure the song Translates the artist ‘s vision in the most effective way.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When producing a song from scratch I usually record a guide piano or guitar with the lead vocal and build from there adding the beat ( live drums or programming often a combination ) then bass ( I play electric bass but love a deep sub synth bass for a contemporary sound). Then I will usually replace the guide instrument and once I have the basic rhythm section I will start thinking about finding unique arrangements and sounds tailored to the song to convey the intention and the purpose of the song. That will typically involve jamming with cool sounds and mangling them to create a unique sonic imprint.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Pro Tools and Logic Pro with all possible plugins running on a M2 Pro Mac Mini with a hybrid setup based around a vintage Pearl console and a choice of high end preamps and outboard processors. Tannoy Ellipse 8 monitors with sub, NS10s, Aurora 8 converters and UA Apollo X16. Upright piano , Yamaha recording custom drums ,various analog synths , Leslie , nice collection of guitars and amps. A well catered selection of mics..
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: These days I'd say 50% mixing and 50% producing , that involves working on the core songwriting, recording drums or programming beats ( depending on the genre) and programming synths, recording guitars, doing vocal harmonies and essentially creating an artistic identity for the artists.
