Today I help singers and songwriters explore their own potential. Let me encourage you to see new ways to view your creative ideas, and collaborate with you to transform them into fully finished songs.
My experience includes being mentored by Ray Davies (The Kinks), and Dominic King (Stardust, Music sounds better with you) - I've learnt to work fast and to a high standard as a given. I love to work with strong images and honest emotions, expressing them in new ways. My lyric writing has been described as ‘excellent’.
Current projects include working with unsigned artists, co-writing and helping to develop their own styles.
If English is not your natural language, I can help with translations for your songs.
I also offer song reviews of either just lyrics, or lyrics & production. This is a comprehensive written review and I will offer suggestions of what to do to improve the song and/or production.
Contact me, and let me know how I can help your song move forward.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Hugh is an excellent communicator and is aware of the components that a well planned song should have. He is also analytical about the marketability of songs. Thanks.
