I'm a guitarist, songwriter and singer. I record in my studio based in Melbourne, ive been based in London and LA for 10 years prior. Ive recorded and toured with artists such as Elton John, Ryan Bingham, Paolo Nutini, Pnau, Empire of the Sun, Robbie Fulks, The Eurogliders, Vika & Linda Bull, Kasey Chambers.

I am happy to help with your musical projects from songs to soundtracks. I am a trained singer and have studied and worked as a professional guitarist for 20 years. I am passionate about songwriting too, so happy to help writing lyrics or toplines.

As a guitarist I play acoustic, electric and baritone, 12 string, ukulele, ronroco and charango.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I did an album of m songs called Liam Gerner and the Sunset pushers and recorded with Jay Bellerose, Jen Condos and Mark Goldenberg I loved that. Also a solo record I did at Shangri La in Malibu with Victor Indrizzio, Sean Hurley, and host of great pickers.

  8. A: I love analog! but I like using protools as it allows me to use my analog gear without the brake downs!

  16. A: That its all about 1 hit song! Music is life time of learning, studying and creative wonder.

  18. A: What they are wanting to hear, who inspires them.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Ill give my creative best.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My 000-18 Martin 1925 acoutstic guitar, my 1956 telecaster, my 1965 princeton amp, my 2 year old field spanuel dog Chispa, and my girlfriend (sorry mum!).

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been a professional musician since 17. I have been performing, recording and writing songs for over 21 years. I am a great believer in learning and teaching music too. So I have studeid for 10 years with Mark Goldenberg (Jackson Browne, Neil Diamond). I also study Ronroco, Ukulele and charango.

  26. A: Folky singer songwritery! and then rocking

  28. A: Robbie Fulks, hes a brilliant mind.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Dont polish a turd.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Acoustic folk, country, rock to even more dance pop sometimes!

  34. A: Bringing a song to life, guitar and singing

  36. A: Tasteful playing on lovely instruments and a good creative musical ears.

  38. A: To discuss the artists vision and help create something that meets that and perhaps takes it even further.

  40. A: New Protools rig, UA interface. I have some fantastic royer, AKG, Chandler Limited, Josephson microphones.

  42. A: Jackson Browne, Nick Lowe, Daniel Lanois, Rick Rubin, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Murray, Don Walker, Mark Goldenberg,

  44. A: I usually do acoustic rhythm, lead guitar or lead/Bv vocals.
