Professional-quality mixing and mastering, with a particular emphasis on the unusual and experimental.
Making records is a pursuit that I've been involved in artistically since round about 2005, and on a more professional basis since 2010. Throughout the years I have had the pleasure of lending my ears to a diverse variety of musical projects, always with the same singular objective of creating unique art. In doing so, my love for the craft has continually evolved and deepened, something that continues to this day as I mix and master projects from my cosy home studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I do my best to imprint no "signature" sound of any kind on records I help make. My ethos for both mixing and mastering emphasises flexibility, transparency, attention to detail and emotional conveyance. I listen to, and will work with, any and all genres, whether it be rock, hip hop, harsh noise or black metal.
In addition to more "standard" mixing and mastering services, I offer editing/restoration/correction services too. I am as comfortable with spoken word/podcast editing as I am with music, and am also comfortable preparing digital masters that are optimised for vinyl and cassette.
