I must have listened to over 50 singer's profile demos, and was starting to get discouraged. All were great, but I needed a unique voice that spoke my own emotions for a really personal song. The second I heard Joey's earthy, honest singing, I knew I had found the voice. From there it just got better. He was quick to respond, incredibly reasonable price-wise, and delivered exactly what I asked for. I will be doing more tracks with Joey, to be sure.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take: 1. My Neumann microphone 2. My Apogee interface 3. my Macbook Pro 4. My Beyerdynamics studio headphones 5. My Alesis midi keyboard
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on anything in the pop and electronic world, but I also love to work on things like R&B, Progressive, Rock, and even love to work on things like jingles & theatre vocals!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a professional vocal booth in my home that's acoustically treated for optimal sound absorption. I record into a top of the line Neumann TLM-102 condenser microphone with the Apogee Duet audio interface. I work in Logic Pro X!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by musicians across the board! I love pop artists like Lauv, QuinnXCII, Jon Bellion & more, and I am a huge fan of electronic artists like Louis the Child, ARIZONA, Gryffin & more!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have been working as a session vocalist and songwriter for pop & electronic music for nearly 10 years in the industry. I am just as comfortable with taking your already written song and tracking my vocals to your top line as I am crafting an original top line over your instrumental or beat!
