Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently, I am working as the Resident Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer for a production company called "KTKG Media" located in Los Angeles, CA.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A combination of both is the best. We all want that "analog" sound, so a combination of both is a wild threat.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I can make your tracks sound ready for radio out of the mixing phase.
Q: How would you describe your style?
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with John Mayer just to see his workflow and take from it what I feel my workflow is missing.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't think about it…..
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop, Rap, EDM, Pop, Singer-Songwriter, Ska, Rock. You name it, I've probably done it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Quick Turn-around time, and hour upon hours of work.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can polish your mix before it gets sent to mastering.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently have an Pro Tools 10 rig. Digidesign 002r, various outboard compressors and equalizers.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Manny Marroquin has definitely been a huge influence of mine. Others include, Dave Pensado, Derek "Mixed by Ali" Ali and Ted Greenberg.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording Mixing and Mastering are the things I do most frequently.
