I'm a producer who has worked with various bands and projects, including my own project, url, that have done well. My work is in H&M, CO-OP, and on various editorial playlists for Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, and Amazon artists. I can help get your songs where they need to go by delivering a production/mix with vibe, depth, and quality.
I graduated from Florida State with a degree in music. While there I collaborated with local artists and bands in all styles. During my time there I also had to the opportunity to play alongside George Clinton. My solo project, url (pronounced "earl"), gained traction in 2020 where I signed to Havêa Records. Some of the artists I worked with include: Inadelle, If by Whiskey, and others.

Interview with Matt Bullard
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a vibe and balance to a song. When we hear our own songs all of the time, it's easy to get caught up in the creation. I listen to the song and what it's saying and convey that vibe through the mix with power.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For mixing, I like to feel the vibe out in the song and understand what the elements are saying to me. After a couple pass throughs I'll mix the song down in a few hours.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I used a UAD Apollo through HS8's. I create in Ableton and Logic, but record and mix in Pro Tools. My set up includes Waves, Steven Slate, UAD, and other professional third party plug ins. I also use a modified 1073 clone pre amp, 1176 compressor, and a hand built 251 microphone.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Quincy Jones, Will Yip, Bone Thugs N Harmony
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly I mix and produce for clients, as well as create beats. I also offer other services due to my knowledge in Pro Tools such as vocal comping and tuning.
