Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Creating a great song, meeting amazing minds from all over the world

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: It's not just about the money, it's about creating something that will become history to somebody or something-

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Well, the obvious ones of course, what they're looking for, their ideas etc etc

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: you don't have to win an award to be gifted, to be good at something. Awards just means you're lucky (right place/right time) I came here to make music, so let's get to know each other and make it happen for both of us...

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A hammock, a pillow, a warm blanket, fire starter (or a magnifying lens) and a machete :P ( Iaughs) I know what you mean but hey, it's pina colada time on a desert island (winks)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Began as a professional at a young age, a prodigy- My first show was with legendary Johnny Cash at the Clayton Arena when I was just 12 years old. I have 35 years of professional experience. Toured with Plane Jane for 5 1/2 years before changing directions to focus on family- no regrets, some great memories there... My path? Well, I would love to get into writing tracks for movie trailers ( many of my family and friends) tell me my music should be in movies...

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I write the music, either pitch a song from my song library to a client or start with a fresh new idea.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Shania Twain, I loved her style of music back in the mid 80's and I actually wrote her an award winning song called " Believe in Yourself" that all my friends and family are completely crazy about (If she ever gets the chance to hear it) Where are you Shania?

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: I have experience with both, this is a new age so it's a new age of learning as well

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I give my best in everything I do, i'm happy when you're happy, that is when my job is done

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Many personal questions, I try not answering them too much- my life is private

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style based is based on everyone I grew up listening to. Whoever limits themselves to one style? Can't afford to, right? Be yourself-that's my style...

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I just recently completed a new project, so i'm available for you...

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I helped Mindy Davy (America's got talent) with her song- I created the backing tracks (synth,cello,violin) and added effects

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: I've met a few on here, they all have something to bring to the table. You don't need a Grammy to be good at something you love, "award winner" Grammy" is a great honor, being in the right place at the right time is key but even thought "awards" are nice, it's all about the music and the people...

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: learn as much as you can and be creative- sometimes a mistake can become to most amazing, musical element!

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: It really depends on what i'm feeling at the moment i'm writing- I try to mix it up here and there

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Music overall would be my strongest skill set by far, I have always had a great ear for music. I have a very gifted mind and bringing actual stage experience into my productions , it generates that extra energy and overall feel into the song...

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Meeting new people, pitching a song to a client or starting a song from scratch, whatever the client needs...

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: It's a great home studio at my horse ranch, it's a professional recording studio I had built to standards. I take music seriously and have a perfect environment to do what i'm most passionate about.

A: There are so many, Journey, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers and the list goes on and on...

A: Emotion, Flexibility, Energy, Dynamics and a little piece of home...
