Express your art. Be new. Be yourself.
Alchemy is an art production brand created by artists of all kinds: musicians, graphic designers and video-makers working together in order to share their skills and creations in different unique work environments.
Producers, musicians, mixing and master engineers work together with the same exact goal: create new music waters where artists can navigate easily, guided only by their need of expression.
While as new company we’re developing our personal projects, our main work force is in publicity: our goal is be able to establish always more working relationships and extend our network to other artists.
We may be young as a company but sky is the limit to us.

Interview with Alchemy
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: On June 24 there'll be released on our social pages and website a video we've made called "Look at Me". As we do when we promote artists, we organized a session in a photography studio with models, stylists, photographers, make-up artists and hip hop dancers. We filmed the entire shooting and we created the music for this amazing commercial, it was so beautiful to see so many different artists combined together in the same project. We can't wait to share this and the other videos with you once we'll release our social pages.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm woking on completing this questionary! My partners are writing a cinematic track inspired by the movie Mad Max at the moment.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: We're new in the game, we heard so many great stuff in SoundBetter: once we'll know them better, we'll be happy to recommend other artists in this same website!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both: depends on the project. Most of the time we love to combine analog and digital sounds: the result is something new every time.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Our main concern is to bring as many people as possible close to the work requested by the customer, therefore we promise the utmost care and a team of experts who'll take care of every single detail until the customer is satisfied with the product.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The fact that there are so many artistic environments united under the same idea, this is Alchemy.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Customer: "What do you do?" "What do you need?" is our answer most of the times.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: What do we do. We're here as music department, at the same time we have graphic designers and stylists working as Alchemy in completely different projects and directions. We believe in art, in every way it exist.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Besides what kind of artist they want to be, we try to understand the destination the client has in mind for his project. After studying the market and the commercials dynamics around that specific world we procede side by side with the client's need 'till the end.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: We encourage customers to not be afraid of the path they've chosen. We believe that there are three types of artists: 1) I care about the message I want to express--->what I like doesn't matter as long as the message reaches the audience; 2) I care about what I want to say, I don't care about how I say it--->you're good to go, you don't need to complain about how people'll react to your art; 3) I care about the money--->no message needed, only money and moves We ask customers to think carefully about this but whatever their decision they made, we're able to help them in that direction.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An acoustic guitar, a pen, a journal, cigarettes and a lot of water.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Alchemy was created in August 2017, we became an official company in April 2018. Each of us worked for at least 4 years in their specialized direction: we'll release our social pages and the full website contents on the 15th of June.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Our style is fearless, dynamic and modern.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Alchemy for us is an idea, a network of artists. The music department is all made by people who have histories with artists and music industries, we love to work with new unknown artists in order to help them express themselves in the music process.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: After four hours straight, take a break and then come back again.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We're now working on the development of an upcoming 2018 artist but this is a secret. Last music projects were about writing the music and creating the sound design for an upcoming 2D Video-Game. Two weeks ago we wrote an electro-reggaeton song.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Try to abandon limits or preferences on the music environments around us.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Depends on the moment, the artist or the request. Our motto is: Express your art. Be new. Be yourself.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We imagine the destination: where do we want to go? What do we want to express? What are the rules? Some of us have the first idea, the first light to light the others. Paying attention to every detail, dynamics and sounds, we write 'till the end. Then our mixer engineer (that was with us at the beginning and at the end) works his magic: after studying the world around the composition, ears up and eyes down to the mixer. Working side by side with the producers, the mix is done: time for the final master. We go in the studio and everything's ready.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: That's a secret.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: We all come from different music backgrounds so each of us brings something unique to the composition, yet we believe that if you really want to express your art you need to understand today's culture in order to do it. We try to forget the limits, who do we listen to? "From Mozart to Shakira"
