Hi there! I've got a bachelor's degree in audio engineering from Belmont University and extensive experience doing sound design for film, animation, and games, including working on an ADR session for The Walking Dead. I also often record voiceovers for 650 AM WSM, radio home of the Grand Ole Opry. I'm also friendly and easy to work with!
I've been a musician for over a decade (drums and piano) and have a background in audio engineering in live, studio, and post production environments. I also have a BS in audio engineering from Belmont University, and a MA in creative writing from Brunel University in England. My specialties are sound design for film and animation, music mixing, composing, and production, specifically within hip-hop/pop genres. I also have my own indie rap EP under the name Ben Hill that I produced myself.
With sound design, I'll assess the audio needs and make your video sound great. I'm capable of doing anything from foley to dialogue recording/editing to original sound effects creation and syncing to video. I can also edit and clean dialogue, mix, and edit music cues for podcasts. Some clients I've done sound design/mixing for are 650 AM WSM, Brady Signs, Union Home Mortgage, and The Chapel Sandusky.
With mixing, I'll use the wide range of techniques, software and plug-ins at my disposal to make your song sound as good as it possibly can.
With composing and producing, I have several years of piano playing and midi production experience, backed up by over 500 GB of professional samples and virtual instruments.
