  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: Always editing podcasts!

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I promise that I will do the absolute best I can to make your podcast sound professional! I also promise that I will be responsive and professional throughout the entire process.

  9. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  10. A: Are you able to clean up gaps and mistakes in my conversation? YES! My audio has reverb or background noise, are you able to get rid of that? Sometimes it is not possible to completely remove reverb or background noise without ruining the dialogue but I can drastically improve the sound quality in most cases and reduce reverb and background noise by a significant amount. Are you able to insert my intro/outro/advertisement audio as well? YES.

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Open and reliable communication is key to completing a project efficiently and to ensuring everybody involved is satisfied with the end result.

  13. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  14. A: I have been working with audio for over 15 years. I have worked as a performer, teacher and studio musician. 18. A: Communication and professionalism. Seamless audio editing and restoration. Music composition.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: Typically I will ask that clients upload all relevant files for a given project to a Google Drive folder that I will create. I will also ask for notes detailing specific editing requirements or anything else the client thinks I should know before starting work. I will then organise the files and complete the audio edit in Adobe Audition before exporting it and uploading the final product to the same Google Drive folder. I will then notify the client and inquire about potential revisions. If music composition is required I will use Ableton Live.

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: Radiolab, TED Radio Hour, Death In Ice Valley

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: Most of the work I do with Podcasts is to edit and clean audio that clients have recorded. I eliminate or minimize any background noise and mix the audio to improve overall quality. I also insert advertisements, intro's and outro's and export the complete project to a format that is complete and ready to be uploaded to any podcasting platform. I also compose intro/outro theme music and transition elements. I can also utilise my vast sound effects library and compose atmospheric elements for more involved podcasts like audio dramas and audio documentaries.
