Professional session guitarist and tutor based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 1st Class Honours - BMus Popular Music Performance - University of West London.
Ruslan works extensively as a session guitar player in Kazakhstan (that's where I am from) and he would love to broaden the horizons and work internationally.
Since he has a huge experience in playing acoustic and electric guitars as well as doing arrangements of the songs in Ableton Live he is a perfect candidate for creating guitar tracks that fit and enhance the vibe of the track.
He will happily work with the existing arrangement or the client should just send the vocal track and Ruslan will start working from there.
To speed up process of recording please provide some info about what you want or reference tracks.
Ruslan will record rhythm parts / solos (24 bit 44.1 Khz) as well as DI tracks
Ruslan spesializes in Pop, R'n'B, Funk and Rock, Heavy Metal.
He records in my own studio with Pro-audio equipment: Gibson, Kiesel guitars, Kemper Profiler, Boutique pedals, as well as vst plugins, Audio-Technica mics, Motu interface.
Ruslan delivers projects in time, always keeps in touch with client to ensure that his work meets the highest expectations.

Endorse Ruslan ZhurbinI have been working with Ruslan for a year, and we have already created several projects together. I like the way he sounds. I recommend all musicians to work with him.
Oh, good news. My friend opened his web site, where he shows his art of performance and huge skills of playing guitar. He worked with the best and famous musicians in our Kazakhstan. He played with famous Kazakh singers and musicians in styles as blues, jazz, rock, soul and pop. He covered and a lot of covers of popular world and national songs. Thanks my friend for sharing.
Interview with Ruslan Zhurbin
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I always try to record guitar no just like a guitar player but as an arranger and understand how my guitar part will complent the whole song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can enhance song's emotions and vibe, but at the same time give it a new feel and direction if needed.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I try to get a brief explanation from the client what kind of guitar parts he wants to get from me. I usually listen to a song couple of times, try to feel the vibe, then I start recording demo guitars. As demo is finished I send the whole track to a client, we negotiate the style I played, the parts and after we finish negotiations I start recording guitar tracks. I record electric guitar parts using my trusty Kemper Profiler with some great profiles (MBritt, ToneJunkie etc.) and acoustic guitar with mics: Audio Technica AT4040 or AKG C1000S. I send the whole track as well as individual stems via cloud services. Further corrections to the guitar parts can be made upon request of the client.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Gibson Les Paul Standard 2013, Kiesel Delos 2016, Epiphone EJ 200CE, Fernandes Revolver Deluxe, Kemper Profiler, Audio Technica AT4040, AKG C1000S, boutique pedals (suhr riot, strymon timeline etc.),Ableton Live 10
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I really like Steve Lukather as he is a true master of guitar, has his own unique style, but at the same time he is a very versatile guitar player that can play in many genres.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically record acoustic and electric guitar parts for clients' song so they perfectly fit into the arrangement and enhance songs emotion.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You'll be satisfied with the results of my work.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try to give as much information and give reference tracks to give me understanding what type of guitar playing you want from me.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've playing guitar for ten years, it all started with University of West London (Bmus Pop Music Performance) and as I came back home to Kazakhstan started working extensively as a session guitarist.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Bluesy, with great funk rhythm and some jazz flavour on top.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, rock, r'n'b
