I have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of todays biggest stars as well as some of the most prolific legends in the music industry. I currently work with Cory Rooney (former VP of Sony Music under Tommy Mottola). I am based out of Los Angeles, Ca. but I often travel for work in ATL, MIA and NYC. Together we create some amazing music. I compose, produce, vocal produce, write, arrange, sing, record, edit, tune, mix and master. I'd love to work with you making your music the best it can possibly be!

Had the pleasure of knocking out a few records with my man E and it is what it is, he's a beast! Super talented and he goes hard with a taste for excellence.
Eric is by far one of the professional and friendly producers I've worked with. The service and quality is next to none, great experience highly recommended.
Interview with Eric Erickson
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time I produce, engineer and mix records.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: this is a loaded question... all types haha
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have grown accustom to working at Henson, East West, United and Paramount studios in Los Angeles, Peer Music when I am in Miami and Jungle City when Im in NYC. At home I have a protools HD setup with Symphony I/O. Neve 1073 mic pres and CL1B compression or 1176. I typically mix on NS-10 but I also use Genelec 8250s and yamaha HS8s
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: There is never a typical process, every song and artist are different. I try to let things happen organically and they always tend to work out nicely!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Because I am a singer, songwriter, producer and engineer I have a unique look at music. I can be creative or very technical, again this depends on the artist vibe and needs.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Id say Vocals, being a singer helps me connect with vocals and vocalists on a different level.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: usually mainstream pop, r&b, hip hop and electronic music
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: after you finish a song, make a play list of other great songs that you would compare your song to. If your song feels like it belongs in the mix of those other songs, you might be on to something!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Id like to work with Ed Sheeran, just because hes super talented and I think hes a cool dude. :P
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern with an old twist. Very melodic and big. Very pop culture
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a singer who couldn't afford a producer so I bought a keyboard and an mpc and my journey began 18 years ago.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: guitar, piano/midi key, macbook pro(fully loaded of course) u87 and a UA Apollo ... where the heck would I plug it in tho! NOOOOoo
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you're looking for high quality work with someone who's been there, done that and seen it all. Then I may be your guy. Im not about ego or being better than anyone, I just love to make dope music with dope people. connecting with your audience and being who you were meant to be is everything.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Whats the budget?!!?!? lol I wish I could do it for free but unfortunately I got bills too **sigh** hahahaha bug all joking aside, I usually ask what is your goal? then... WHATS THE BUDGET? :P
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: If you're looking for a real professional record, a lot more goes into it than just slapping autotune on a poorly recorded vocal from a usb mic.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Do you like my music? Ohhh you wish! hahahaha I love anyones music who puts 100% passion and love into it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being creative
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Ill work as hard as you do
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: both, gotta make due with whatever we have at the time.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: My friend Pendrick is on here, you should go find him and do something with the both of us!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Just finished working on the last JLo feat. Cardi B and Dj Khaled - Dinero about to get on a plane and go see what trouble I can get in out in the A!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Recently I put out my own new singe called "Don't Let Me Go" with my friend SHORP its was amazing and I had a great time working on it. Go check out my vocals! :P #plug hahaha
