I'm an Emmy® nominated film composer, and pop/indie songwriter and producer. Whether you're making a film, writing songs, or recording your record, I want to help you tell your story in a way that's unique, authentic and true to your vision. Let's talk about your project!
I'm a film composer, and pop/indie songwriter and producer.
An extensive theatrical background has given me a keen sense of character, mood and story, and I love working with directors to develop a score that works in service of the film. I'm excited by all kinds of musical worlds, but am especially at home with orchestral, hybrid orchestral (incorporating electronic or other contemporary elements) pop, acoustic and indie. I also do ads and trailers.
Scoring credits include WWII documentary "5,000 Miles From Home" (Emmy® nomination) and the feature romantic comedy "Get Happy." Licensing placements include the film "Madtown" and TV shows including Dance Moms and Last Call with Carson Daly.
As a pop/indie producer, I work with independent artists, helping them to fully realize their songs . One of the most exciting aspects of working with other artists is the opportunity to explore a wide range of styles. My goal is to make you sound like the very best version of you and for you to walk away with a recording that you love. Production credits include contemporary folk artist Sharon Goldman, electronic artist Magical Realist and singer-songwriter Becca Gohn. I also compose and produce my own orchestral pop under the moniker Allison's Invention.
Finally, I'm a songwriter and lyricist available for co-writing and top lining (split sheet required).

Allison is an excellent composer and very good with communicating. She is willing to go above and beyond to help your vision come to life.
As a producer, I have worked with Allison on several projects including the scoring and performing of keyboard parts as well as the scoring of horn parts. The results of our collaborations are always above and beyond what I had hoped for. Allison has shown a wonderful sense of creativity in the musical parts she contributes--she has an unfailing understanding of what a song "calls for." Her professionalism is a joy, the quality of her work is impeccable, and I give her my highest recommendation.
