A: Listen and read. But mostly listen. Choose the right artist for the job. It will sst both of you up to succeed.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic guitar. Piano, drums, sticks and strings... they need no electricity.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Bands. Bands. Bands. Playing live. Learning sound and being comfortable in the studio and in front of a mic. Lots of studio time. Lots of live performance. Couple years ago had the opportunity to record for five days with producer Warren Huart. Warren also has a youtube channel that brings together mixers and artists from around the globe. And through that, i have made many great creative and personal connections.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are many Writer/ Artists that i would like the opportunity to collaborate with and for. Technology and the internet connectivity has made that possible. Everyday i have the chance to work with talent all across the globe.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: For me, inspiration and spontinaity are essential. So, my studio is always setup and ready to record when the mood strikes. Capture the moment without having to think too much.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My voice.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I work fast. I bring a combination of great range and feel with a strong sense of melody and nuance that is so important.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It solely depends on the unique needs of that indivudual client. But, typically Client provides rough mix with and without scratch vocal direction. I will record main vocal, doubled vical and harmonies. Send back for input and i will include one round of revisions. When approved, i will provide individual high res WAV files as per tge cluents specs.

A: I record into logic. SM7 into a focusrite scarlete i2i.
