Interview with ERIXOUNDS
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not at this time.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I recommend always analyzing the intent of one's art. What are you and your music saying? Why?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Misunderstanding the roles of a producer vs. mixing engineer (I need to be hired separately for each). Also, I am not a publicist nor an artist manager, promotion is the client's job.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I release a track every week, so check me out on my socials @erixounds.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first solo record release last October. I did everything on it from scratch and with stock plugins.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer the warm sounds of analog but love working in the clean sonic environment of digital.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Quality. Originality. Emotion.

A: What are 3 reference tracks that describe the sound you are looking for? Can you track your own vocals? What date would you like this by?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Solar charger, laptop, keyboard, mic, guitar.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am a highly trained composer, singer and multi instrumentalist of over 15 years. I've done Indie, Rock, Pop, EDM and Soundtrack production for 7 years, and I began mixing and mastering 2 years ago.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Multi-genre Pop.
