My name is Juan Sierra and I'm a Recording and Mixing engineer from Bogotá, Colombia. I have a BA in Music with Audio Engineering emphasis from Xavierian University and an MA of Music, Science and Technology from Stanford University. I also do audio software Development so I build unique plugins for my own Mixes.
Mainly, I do mixing engineering for musical projects. My work is substantially artistic so I like to take my time to discuss with clients about the direction of the project. I'm now working to please the client, I'm working with them in pro of their and my own art. I'm also very knowledgeable about audio technology, so you can be sure that any decisions that need to be rational and precise will be taken care in a meticulous and exact way without loosing an artistic north.
Although I'm open to work on almost any genre, I feel more comfortable on Rock, Pop, Jazz and Latin. Besides that I also do Music Recording, Sound Design and remixing Engineer for audiovisual material ranging between commercial videos and advertising to full length movies.
