  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: As a bass player, I find that I'm able to sit back and get a good feeling for the song as a whole, and can use my years of experience to take that song wherever it needs to go.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I work with Abelton Live and Logic X. I've been recording my own music for over 15 years so am well experienced, and I know how to get great results quickly.

  7. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  8. A: People like Rob Mullarkey - he's a monster bass player, but also just generally a musical genius! The sort of guy who is great at everything he turns his hand to.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: Live performances and touring make up the bulk of my work. I also do studio sessions, and can record high quality takes from my home studio. I'm also a beat maker, producing my own music and producing for other artists as well.

  11. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  12. A: I'm currently writing, recording and touring with my band HOWES3. We play a mashup of funk, hip hop, jazz, fusion and gospel, and are steadily gaining an online following. Our debut album will be released in April 2020.
