My name is Sophie Morgan and Iêm a eighteen year old singer/songwriter from Widnes _ a town in the middle of Manchester and Liverpool.,,From the moment I was born music has always surrounded me. It almost feels like it is so deep within me, that it is what makes my blood run and my bones ache. It is the centre of everything for me.,,After first tinkling the piano at age six and discovering poetry books around a similar time, I soon began combining the two and penned my first songs at about nine years old and never stopped.,,In the summer of 2011, after singing at a mutual friendês wedding in Chester, I met Simon Jones of the Verve. By the next week I was skipping school to record over 14 demos of my original songs in his studio, and heês been a sort of musical guardian to me ever since.,,Now that I have left school things are different.
