Currently I lead a 4-piece band called AUTHENTIC BLUE. We perform original songs in the rock/pop/Blues idioms with a strong theatrical flair. We performed our premiere gig recently at The Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe, SE16 and were immmediately booked by the HotVox agency. ,My first band was called TellTale and a claim to fame is that I co-wrote and sang the theme -song for the TV series RAINBOW - we were the original band in the show. ,Over the following years I worked as an actor/musician in the theatre including seasons at the Royal Shakeseare Company, The Young Vic, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Oxford Playhouse etc.,Six years ago I started to write musicals, creating both the music, lyrics and book. My first show was called "A Date With Destiny" performed at The Oval House Theatre in London. This was a homage to the great British tradition of Variety and Vaudeville and included trapeze-artists, dancers, jugglers, roller-skaters and a chorus-line.
