Michael Meinhart is a composer, mixer and sound designer who specializes in dynamic, emotive and layered compositions within the realms of rock, metal, industrial, electronic and soundtrack.

Beginning his musical journey as an artist in his progressive rock band, Socionic, Meinhart collaborated with über talented artist and producer Rhys Fulber (Delerium, Josh Groban, Fear Factory, Sinead O'Connor, etc), co-producing, composing, programming and performing on their debut record, "Identity" before taking the production reigns on their follow up, "Dividing Horizon", creating the lush layering and organic-electronic dichotomy that describes their sound.

Eventually branching out into the world of music for film, Meinhart has composed, produced, edited, mixed and done sound design on several scores for Manifest Films as well as commercials for Lumo Run and Segway.

Continuing to explore new methods of production, mixing and composition, Meinhart is currently working on several scores, remixes, and songs for film as well as furthering his endeavors as an artist.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog for recording source material, digital for effects and mixing. Analog still has the edge as far as quality, especially when you want the best material recorded to process in the box. Once on disk, digital provides all the flexibility and control needed to make top quality material in the hands of an experienced engineer.
