Charlie T is a London-based Songwriter, Producer, Mixer and Engineer.
Charlie cut his teeth as the in-house engineer at the Pink Floyd-owned Britannia Row Studios in West London. Starting as an intern - after a short course in sound engineering and audio technology - Charlie rose through the ranks to take over as chief in-house engineer and studio manager within 18 months.
During his time at Brit Row, Charlie worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Pink Floyd, One Direction, Paul McCartney, London Grammar, Ella Henderson, Anna Calvi, Little Mix, 5SOS, Kyla La Grange and more.
Since Brit Row’s retirement in 2016, Charlie has been solely freelance, working across various studios in London and further afield. They include Assault & Battery, Konk, Abbey Road, Livingston, Metropolis, Vale in Worcestershire and The Village Studios in LA.
Charlie is now a resident at The Kinks-owned studio, Konk, in North London, where he has a writing and production studio above the main Neve room. He is currently collaborating with artists such as Calum Scott, James Smith, James TW, Sam Fischer and more.
Charlie also teaches at the prestigious Abbey Road Institute and The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP).

Working with Charlie proved to be surprisingly fulfilling, given how much of a perfectionist I am. Balancing the productive with the fun is a major highlight. He applied my ideas, while building on top of them with his own to evoke my natural talents. Despite the many iterations of my being picky, Charlie didn't just put up with it, but embraced it knowing it would make for a better song in the end. That kind of professionalism stands out. All in all - outstanding collab, especially for a first.
I have worked with Charlie on a number of records over the years and i have always loved the experience. Charlie is a highly skilled producer, engineer and writer who's very comfortable in any situation (and we had a variety of those!!). He's super calm in the studio and has great vision for any task given. Like i said, i love creating music with Charlie and i highly recommend his skills!
