Hi, I’m Daniel Connolly, a London-based mix engineer, producer, songwriter, and Avid-certified Pro Tools expert (PT101 & PT110).

I’ve worked at a professional level for over 15 years as both a musician and producer. I’m currently involved with the bands Sisteray and Happy Science, and my work has contributed to releases with millions of Spotify streams.

I’ve toured extensively across the UK and Europe and played major festivals including Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, The Great Escape, Camden Rocks, and Tramlines. My music has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and Amazing Radio, and has been featured in publications such as Clash, NME, and Louder Than War.

My mixing approach is hybrid. I work in Pro Tools while integrating outboard gear and real tape to add depth, weight, and character. I often run tracks or stems through hardware compression and tape to create natural saturation and movement.

Coming from a background as a songwriter and guitarist, I mix with the song at the centre. I focus on clarity, impact, and feel, aiming for natural, punchy mixes that translate across systems. I specialise in indie, alternative, post-punk, and guitar-driven music, but always serve the artist’s vision.
