Ben Collier is a songwriter, music producer and string arranger.
Ben has been collaborating with artists including Maxine Ashley (I Am Other), High Contrast (3Beat), Parson James (RCA), JAKL, Wølffe, Lizbet Sempa, Chris Lake (Ultra), Luke Burr (Global), Andrea Martin (RocNation), Sigma (3Beat), Oxymorrons (Tommy Boy), Jess Glynne (Atlantic), Becky Hill (Parlophone), Ryan Ashley, Gabrielle Aplin (Parlophone), Tâches (M-fold), Diztortion (3Beat), The Nexus and TMS.
Ben’s string arrangements can be heard on Sigma’s hit singles Changing, Glitterball and Higher, on Jess Glynne’s number one hit Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself and for artists including Ella Henderson, Kwabs, Olly Murs, and Little Mix.
As a songwriter Ben co-wrote and produced the Lizbet Sempa single All The Things which charted at #4 on Hype Machine. Other co-writes include Everything You Never Had by Breach ft. Andreya Triana, Hurricane by Ørjan Nilsen, Atlas by Shannon Saunders and Gareth Emery’s Concrete Angel, which entered the Billboard Airplay charts at No. 15. A video of the original ballad was filmed featuring the writers in the studio, with Ben at the piano.
Ben’s songwriting has also been synched, with Concrete Angel being placed on The Vampire Diaries, Better Days To Come on the Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 2 soundtrack, and Winning Style being commissioned for Sky Sport’s coverage of the NatWest
