Hi i am Jhaye Mc Kie and i go by the name 'Jaydot' and i am a Caribbean Based Music Producer, Songwriter + Sound Designer.

I specialize in making Hiphop,Trap, Pop, Dancehall, AfroBeat, & Contemporary Music and i tend to make music that have a 'cross genre' style because it tends to appeals to a wider audience. Not to mention its super fun to do! Cause it makes you stand out more! ;)

  2. A: Abdiel - Show Me cause it was very fun. My role is a music producer, Song Writer , Vox Engineer, Mix engineer.

  4. A: Cross Over track. Its Pop with a bit of an Afro Beat Soca twist!

  8. A: Both! Cause i said soo lol

  10. A: That your music will stand out as long as you have fun with it and work with amazing people(Sometimes this doesn't always include me.Which is okay too.)

  12. A: The Music that i make with others. I love to bang out the completed project.

  16. A: That i am some genius!.lol ..Im just really stubborn! i dont like to do anything half-done.

  24. A: 13 Years now.

  26. A: I little bit of everything that i hear or experience.

  28. A: Max Martin! He seem soo cool and humble!

  30. A: Have a song concept first. Is good to have a direction to use as a lead. This concept can range from melody idea, vibe idea, genre based, tempo based, theme based ,Era based even.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Contemporary Stuff. What ever is hot today is what most people seek to low-key sound like.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Being super optimistic & stubborn to not ever quit!

  36. A: Very International Sound with alot of Uniqueness!

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: It really varies because many different artiste means that my process changes . So at times i'm making instrumentals first and other times i'm presented a type beat reference . Other times just mumblings of songs verse and chorus etc etc.

  40. A: Basically i love a mobile Set up. My laptop, headphones ,midi keyboard, Apogee interface with a mic is a must for me.
