Interview with MixSD Studios
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill, I believe, is hearing what someone else is hearing and then translating that to the music.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I get inspiration from many different sources. Legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd inspire me greatly, as well as the producers and engineers that worked with them. Guys like Eddie Kramer, Bob Clearmountain, Jack Joseph Puig, to the more recent Chris Lord-Alge, have also very much inspired my work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most common work would have to be tracking live bands / musicians. I also do a fair amount of mixing as well however.
