Analog or digital and why?
Analog, because for me Analog Preamping and Compression create the best sound. It's all about the Sound. Working completely Analog is pain in the ass. Digital Workflow is much better and faster, and there are a bunch of PlugIns which are really good. So i think the mix between Analog and Digital is the best way to Record and Mix
Tell us about your studio setup.
I have no big Studio Setup. If i have a recording with a band, i rent a Studio of a friend, or we record in their Rehearsal Room with my Equipment. Today it is too expensive to have an own Studio. All Mixing jobs are done in my MixingSuit at Home. The most time i'm working in the Box, but for me it is important to have some good Analog Equipment like my Goldmike MK2. But it is not important what equipment you have. When you are creative and you know what your Client want, you don't need a big ass Studio.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
I am a big fan of the Foo Fighters sound and Butch Vig as their Producer. I like the fact, that they don't care about the Loudness war cause dynamic comes first.
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
