Spenser Morris Audio on SoundBetter

Chicago based recording engineer and bassist with home studio for editing, mixing, mastering, direct input, MIDI, acoustic and vocal recording. On staff at a professional recording facility(www.mysterystreetrecording) where I can provide full professional recording services, with two live rooms, isolation booth, mixing console, and tons of gear.

Clients I've worked with have been featured on popular websites, media, publications, and blogs, which include NPR, The Chicago Reader, Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Needle Drop, Fake Shore Drive, Decibel Magazine, Invisible Oranges, CVLT Nation, MetalSucks, Gowhere Hip-Hop, and many more.

Rates to the right are based off working out of my home studio and my standard hourly rate, and I will usually put in extra time or offer discounts on larger jobs. Song mixing rates include mastering, which I won't put on if you are having someone else master. My standard hourly rate is $25/hour at my home studio and with my basic mobile recording rig(14 inputs). At the studio I'm on staff at my rate is $50/hour, if you're looking for full studio recording or mixing on an analog console.

A note-project rates based off full bands or vocal artists with full track-outs/stems. Artists using primarily electronic made productions with just a two track file(so no stems/track outs) can usually can get a mix from me for about $30-60 depending on how many vocal tracks there are and the quality of the two track.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
