I have been recording, mixing and mastering albums in Memphis TN for over 19 Years. Contracted to manage and serve as Chief Engineer for Ecko Studios I have Mixed and Mastered over 150 Albums for Ecko Records.

Ecko Studios is your one stop for all of your recording, mixing, mastering and commercial production needs. Ecko Studios has long been known as a hidden jewel among the Memphis Music Community. We offer a Top-Notch facility with a extensive collection of vintage and modern equipment and our commitment to work with you.

Located in Midtown Memphis, TN Ecko Studios is a full service recording facility combining the latest technology with vintage gear. The facility was designed and built by Stax Records session Guitarist Bobby Manual in 1975. The studio has been known by a few different names over the years, Daily Planet Productions, Shoe Productions and now Ecko Studios. After a number of factors caused the Stax Record label to slide into insolvency and close in 1975 Satellite Records/Stax founders, Jim Stewart and Estelle Aston became involved with the studio and continued to record and produce albums.

Ecko Studios was built and designed with acoustics in mind. The control room is centered around a MCI JH-500 console boasting 28 I/O's of good old MCI charm. Along with an extensive collection of outboard preamps and processors we are able to establish world-class input and output paths with or without the use of the console.
