Guitarist/composer/arranger with 20 years experience in studios and bands, including international touring. Wide variety of equipment to suit any sound. Strong footing in the rock genre. Previous clients include O2, Film4 and P&O. SHOWREEL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kflqmTEYrR4
My approach is one of attention to detail and theme of the song, whatever the style. You get real valve (tube) guitar amplifiers through a good speaker and microphone, not digital emulations.
I can arrange multiple guitars if required, compose the parts or work with you to embellish your existing ideas.
Having a background in music education - teaching at BIMM and Waterbear - enables me to assist with any music theory questions or problems, and all my recording takes place in my professional studio.
I also offer Bass, Drum programming and Mixing services, priced separately.

Endorse Steve BrookI have recorded Steve in several different bands and projects at Brighton Road Recording Studios. He’s an incredibly versatile player with a great feel and knack for picking things up quickly. His playing is tasteful yet he can really let rip when he needs to! He is easy to work with and an all round great player.
I first had the pleasure of working with Steve over 10 years ago when we produced great music under the name Blue Return which was an electronic guitar fused project. I had loads of drum machines and synths wired up and Steve would come over and we could sometimes get over 10 jams down in a day. He's extremely versatile in his approach and his passion shines through all the music he plays. I've recently got Steve collaborating with me on a few tracks on my forthcoming album which are sounding even better thanks to this musical master. If your looking for a great guitarist then look no further.
I can’t recommend Steve any higher. Not only is he a phenomenal musician, but he is extremely professional, and a dream to work with.
His playing is exceptional both in studio and live, and he boasts the rare quality of being able to underplay or overplay at the flick of a switch.
You couldn’t pick a better musician!
Steve is an awesome guitarist and producer and very easy to work with. He knows what's needed to bring the song to life. Highly recommended.
