I am focused mixing engineering, specialized in youtube cover mixing and game music.

Hello, I am Rishi and am a mixing engineer and will help you get more of your music to your fans. I am currently updating my portfolio and would LOVE the chance to work with some creative artist. Long term projects are my preference as the more I work on, the better it gets.

My experience include mixing all songd for 4 youtubers and working on 2 big projects. I myself run a channel which focuses on sound design and game music.

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I am creative time oriented engineer so you will get results on time. The clearer the requirements the better result.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I like the review from my customers. It is awesome to hear- I never thought I can sound like that. Lots of Wow! Even a single line feedback gives me ton of joy.

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: To be true Customer ask for my previous work experience. Also I get lot of question after mastering like" what did you do? I sound awesome." I say its mastering magic.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  8. A: I can not turn bad song into good but good to better.

  9. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  10. A: I ask my client whether they have a good recording or mix, before they send it to me.

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: For customers, I want to say It is best to clear about your requirements and expectation. If you have frequent mixing or mastering Jobs to be done, It is better to familiarize yourself with basics as Eq, refrence track etc.

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: Awesome Question! Usb Mic, Laptop, Midi keyboard, Notebook and pencil

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: As I am still learning Music in general was my path but after learning about music production it is my path. I already knew lot of stuff before learning due to intuition and experimentation. I have been doing mixing for 3 years with almost everyday learning new techniques.

  18. A: Focused creativity

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: I would like to work with some artist in my country like AR Raheman to Scoring Epics Ramin Djawadi.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: This is not new but always share - Please Do Not mix with higher Volume.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Pop and orchestral with little game music

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: I am best at automation.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: I bring flow and power to the song.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: Checking for the requirements for the projects. Understanding the song layout and final demand. Starting from volume leveling, automation, eq , compression to indepth vocal processing. Once the mix is well balanced, I use mixing techniques to make the track stand out. Then final listen before bouncing the track. If mastering is required, I set up new session for the mastering chain. Using Eq, dynamic eq, stereo width, limiter, maximizer and compression to give final touch.

  31. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  32. A: My powered Laptop with Pro Tools 12, Studio Monitors, Open Back headphones, Midi Keyboard, piano and condenser Mic

  33. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  34. A: Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran, Justin Beiber, Linkin Park, Warren Huart, Ramin Djawadi, Hens Zimmer

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: I do album mastering and orchestral mixing. I also get lot of Audio restoration jobs.

  37. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  38. A: As I get time between projects, I work on my individual projects. Sherlock Holmes theme soundtrack project is what took a lot of time and perfection. There were 6 people collaborating on the project and I was leading the whole project. As a creative person it feel really good when have it all in the hand. The project got great outcome and I plan to more of such projects.

  39. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  40. A: I am working on Game of thrones Score with two different themes. I have a long game project and mastering an album.

  41. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  42. A: Not yet. I watched the video and know some of them

  43. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  44. A: Digital for now. It is super easy, less issues, space and creativity to do whatever you like with it. I also like analog and funding my equipments from projects. I am buying a new analog gear every three months.
