  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I think the hybrid is the perfect mix. Analog gives warmth, and digital is useful and fast.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I don't promise anything, everything is always subjective.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Everything

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: People tend to thin f m as a producer, but I'm not. I'm an engineer.

  15. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  16. A: "Don't let yourself be fooled".

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: Solid State mixer, PMC TB1 monitors, Manley equalizer, Mac Pro with Protools and Distressor Compressor.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I started making and producing Hip Hop in 1989, then I spent a lot of time studying sound engineering, and I did my first mastering in 1999. Since then I've worked for advertising (I won twice the "best sound" award at National Advertising Awards), and also worked on contemporary dance pieces for Blanca Li, mixing and mastering for Oscar Mulero, Whyt Noyz, Dale Howard and many more.

  21. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  22. A: Katy B, beacuse I think her mixes are amazing, and would love to be part of that.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: electronica, techno, pop, classic, contemporary music, soundtracks and advertisement

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: Cleanliness, warmth, sound quality, and rich dynamics.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: My mixes are very clean, I try to make every sound to be heard clearly, If you're looking for a dirty sound, I'm not your man. When it comes to mastering, I analyze the music and look for possible sound "mistakes" in the mix to be adjusted in the mastering. I'm not the typical mastering engineer who is into the LOUDNESS WARS, I look for a dynamic sound.
