Interview with Kieran Greig - Emerald Sound
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work from my home studio where I run pro tools 12 and 10. I have a wide array of plugins such as Fabfilter and Joey Sturgis Tones. I monitor on Tannoy Reveal monitors and use my Audio-Technica ATH-M40X headphones to reference on. I use a small Audient interace to record guitar,bass and vocals and often rent out other studios when recording drums.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by a wide array of artists across different genres ranging from people like Zedd all the way to heavier bands like Architects from the UK.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I often record, mix and master bands who come in to work with me. I often also produce these bands and help develop their songs.
