I work mainly as a mixing engineer and have a great set of reel-to-reel and cassette tape recorders. I specialize in experimental out-of-the box mixing delivering warm tones. I don't usually follow standards, I trust my ears to reach the sound my customers are searching for, and I try to create a connection with them to understand what they sometimes can't translate in words(we artists usually have some hard times trying to tell people what we're searching for and I understand that). If you're trying to replicate the sound of that major label artist I'm probably the wrong guy for you, but if you're trying to come up with something new and exciting I'll be glad to do my best for you.
