  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Digital. Faster and it is possible to make it sound very analogy.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: Do to anything in my power to make you song sound as good as possible. To charge you what we have agreed and if some extra cost is needed I will first ask from you.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Working with very different kind of music and talented artist is best thing in this.

  7. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  8. A: Do you do drum replacement - Yes for no extra cost Do you do track editing - Yes for extra fee Do you do vocal tuning - Yes for extra fee

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: That mixer can make bad song to sound good or bring something to song that is not there.

  11. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  12. A: How tracks have been recorded? What is best sounding song of there music style and can they provide it to me as ref? Are tracks edited and clear of any click of so on?

  13. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  14. A: Listen some reference music they have done and get one that sound best in your budget.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: My IPhone, fridge, big battery, emergency rockets, photos of my family. I need people around.

  17. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  18. A: I have learned from here and there. I have mixed since -95 some live sound, but I have just started this online mixing business.

  19. Q: How would you describe your style?

  20. A: It is my style. Some one has said that my sound is dark but not black, but it does not mean it is not bright.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: POP, CCM, jazz, poprock

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: I may say my best skill is to make very good balance and find room to each element of song.

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: My skills and my love to music. In concert I find most important part of song groove and make them shine.

  27. Q: What's your typical work process?

  28. A: I get files trough some file share provider or FTP client. Short edit time to check if tracks are clean. Next I listen some reference songs client have send. I do my own RAWmix and then go on. Normal I do 2-3 revisions.

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: I mix inside box. Protools and some plugins from Waves and Steven Slate

  31. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  32. A: I do mostly online mixing but also some "house" mixer for some events.

  33. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  34. A: Michael W. Smith I have lived with his music since I was teen.

  35. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  36. A: Do things best possible way but don't over do.
