  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: It will have to be the project I am working on now. I compose, produce, arrange perform on this project.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  8. A: Preferably a mix of analog and digital. Analog to get the soul. Digital to get to the goal.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: That I do my utmost to get the best result.

  12. A: The process and the result.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: I can't tell. Their secrets are safe with me.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That I turn crap into gold. Which I sometimes can :)

  18. A: It depends on the job.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Take your time in decsribing exactly what you are looking for.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A solar panel for electricity, a microphone, a set of speakers, my computer, an extra harddrive (just in case)

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: Over 30 years I have been composing and making music productions. Seven years for a publisher. And since the past five years as an independent. I possess the skills and experience to take a song a step further.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Accessible, open, poppy

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Artists that are still developing their sound or style. I have the experience to point them in the right direction and provide a song measured to their skills and tone of voice.

  30. A: Less is more.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Soul, disco, dance, rock. Also I am working on music for children.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Creating a melody line that can't get oout of your head.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I try to give it the umphf and a human touch.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Go go go go until the job is done!

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: A plain and simple home recording studio. I record with Logic Pro and Pro Tools. No fancy stuff. Neumann microphone.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Pharrell Williams, Paul McCartney, Isaac Hayes, James Brown, D'Angelo, Prince

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I am the guy that creates the melodies that stick into your head. Are you looking for a sticky melody or a chorus that hits the mark? I am your man.
