Difference between editing / mixing

Hello, I would like to know what is the difference between "editing" and "mixing" ? I made an uplifting trance track in FL studio but it sound really muddy, and maybe it misses elements too... I am interested to improve this track.Thanks to reply me Alex

I'm interested in working with a very experienced mixer. The tracks are cleaned, tuned, and and the song is ready to be mixed. I'll need you to master it too if possible. I have a song already recorded and want some additional production elements - sound effects, synths, samples, percussion, re-recorded instruments. . I don't have a hard deadline for this.
