About the Scholarship
SoundBetter is honored to have the opportunity to support students enrolled in a certificate or degree program in a music-related field, including but not limited to programs in music theory, music performance, music business, music production, and audio engineering. Through our scholarship program we will award one (1) $1,000 scholarship in financial assistance towards a recognized music or music-production education program to one applicant per year.Eligibility requirements:
- U.S. citizen or permanent residents
- Enrolled in the upcoming academic year as a part or full-time student (at least two courses) in a recognized music-related academic program
- Applicant must be 18 years or older
- Recipient of scholarship will give SoundBetter permission to use their name, photo and a quote in connection with marketing of the scholarship
How to Apply:
Applicants should apply via email, including the following:
- Full name, address and phone number
- Name of school, program or institution you are enrolled in, and proof of enrollment
- Up to 500 words about your music-related experience and goals
- Links to two (2) songs you took part in creating, producing or performing, hosted on Spotify, Soundcloud or Youtube only. Please note what your role was in the production. For example: ‘I was the singer in this production’ or ‘I was the mixing engineer in this production’. No attachments please.
