Premium Providers get more visibility and are found by more clients.

There are two ways to get work on SoundBetter.
1. Being invited by clients visiting SoundBetter. All Providers can be invited by clients to jobs.
Premiums appear above basics on the search pages, getting more visibility and more job invites.
This is the primary benefit of being Premium.
2. Sending proposals to jobs on the job board. The job board is accessible to Premium providers only.
Premium providers go through a selective screening process. This assures the quality of work is high, which makes for happy clients who return and tell their friends. It also lowers competition for our Premium members which helps them close more jobs.
Note that we accept new Premiums based demand for particular specialties, to maintain a balanced marketplace. As a result we can only accept a small percentage of applicants.If you wish to be considered for the Premium program, sign up to apply below
How do I become a Premium provider?
If you would like to become a Premium provider, sign up above. We will review every provider who wishes to become a Premium provider before they are approved.
What if I'm not approved?
If you are not approved to be a Premium provider you will not be charged. As a Basic provider your listing will appear in search results and you can be invited by clients to jobs.
What are the benefits to becoming a Premium provider?
- You will show up higher on search results for your primary specialty, greatly increasing your visibility for getting invited to jobs.
- You will have access to the job board.
- You will be in good company, as clients will know that all Premium providers are screened by SoundBetter.
Can I send as many proposals as I want to jobs on the job board?
There is a limit of 10 proposals per month. This optimizes the fit of the proposals and balances the amount of proposals each job receives.
Receiving only a handful of proposals provides a better experience for the client, significantly increases the chances they will close with someone, and ensures less competition for you.
Will I be charged right away?
No. Since there is a queue for the review process, you will not be charged until your listing is reviewed and approved. We try to do this as fast as we can, but the review process may take a few weeks. Thanks for your patience.
What if I'm approved?
If you are screened and approved you will become Premium with all the benefits that come with it. You will be notified and your credit card will be charged. You can cancel anytime and then you won't be charged from the next billing period.
What do you look for in Premium Providers
We are looking for very experienced music production professionals who are great at what they do, are customer-service oriented, have a complete profile. We accept a small percentage of applicants based on these criteria, as well as marketplace need in particular categories.
