My name is Ahmed Kahn and I am a mixing engineer. I started my career working under the wing of Lee "JR" Hutson, a Grammy nominated, platinum producer. I have recorded and mixed many records for artists including Jason Derulo, Lallah Hathaway, Ledisi, Malcom Jamal Warner, Tony Royster Jr. and Robert Glasper to name a few.
Originally from France living in Athens Greece since 2008, the studio has been dedicated to "newer" bands mostly ( Black, Death, Thrash, Heavy Metal, Hardcore ) that cannot afford a "big" studio, providing a great quality of recordings, reamping, mixing, mastering, all in the friendliest way.
Known for his unique sounds and visuals inspired by the '80s, New-York-born singer-songwriter David Diaz effortlessly sparks feelings of nostalgia and wonder in his listeners. David attributes his soulful vocals to powerhouses such as Sam Smith and Brayton Bowman, and his lyricism to songwriters like Julia Michaels and Sahsa Sloan.
I've performed with Janelle Monae on the Colbert Show and on VH1's "RuPaul's Drag Race", sang bgv's for Maya Azucena & Psychic Ills, written & performed songs with DJ Marley Marl, Mad Skillz, Treach (Naughty by Nature) and Monifah. I've taught songwriting since 2016 and take a lot of pride in my lyrical abilities as well as my unique vocal tone.
